Education at Lazarus Care
We believe education transforms lives. While we don’t operate a school, we ensure every child receives the education they deserve, helping them explore interests and reach their potential. Our caregivers actively support learning—reading with children and advocating for their needs—working closely with schools, tutors, and education professionals.
Education is tailored to each child’s individual plan, with full involvement in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and Personal Education Plans (PEP). Our Registered Manager oversees all educational progress and reporting.
We provide additional tuition where possible, including European language options, and maintain strong links with local authorities and Virtual Schools to ensure smooth educational transitions.
When engagement is a challenge, we use creative, personalised approaches to inspire learning and focus on life skills to prepare young people for adulthood. Our home offers dedicated learning spaces, resources, and access to technology, supported by qualified tutors.
