Our Therapeutic Approach
At Lazarus Care, therapy plays a crucial role in supporting children with complex needs. When individual therapy is needed alongside our therapeutic caregiving, we partner with accredited, experienced therapists specialising in trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches.
How Therapy Works Here
• Individual and Systemic Support: Therapy can be delivered directly to the child or through the caregiving team to strengthen the whole environment.
• Collaborative Planning: Keyworkers engage in direct work with children and collaborate closely with therapists, social workers, and families to tailor therapy to each child’s unique needs.
• Clear Goals & Reviews: Every therapy programme has defined treatment outcomes, agreed with the child and social worker, and regularly reviewed to track progress.
• Integrated Reporting: Therapists and keyworkers provide joint reports for care reviews, ensuring therapy aligns with overall care plans.
Our Partner Therapists
We are proud to partner with a skilled clinical team:
– A Senior Clinical Psychologist and Accredited CBT Therapist who supervises all partner therapists and oversees assessments and formulations.
– A Clinical Supervisor and Trauma-Informed Practitioner who provides staff training, clinical supervision, and direct therapy sessions as needed.
– A BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering clinical supervision, training, and individual therapeutic support.
Supporting Healing and Growth
From referral onwards, our therapeutic team partners with caregivers to deliver consistent, trauma-informed care—helping every child on their path to healing, resilience, and growth.
